Wyland – Moraytis
Annamarie Moraytis and Joshua Wyland were united in marriage July 5, 2014, at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, Mt. Lebanon, with Father Michael H. Kallur officiating.
The bride’s parents are Louis and Patricia Moraytis of Upper St. Clair. Her grandparents are the late George and Catherine Sonntag and the late John and Mary Moraytis.
Parents of the bridegroom are Vicki Wyland of Washington and the late David Wyland. His grandparents are Delores Hoyle and Iola and Joseph Nakoneczny, all of Washington.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Lindsay Rudolph. Bridesmaids were Megan McDevitt, Gina Burke and Catherine Ulicny, sister of the bride.
Flower girl was Sarah Ulicny, niece of the bride.
Best man was Matt Cox. Ushers were Mike Guadagnolo, Joseph Nakoneczny, cousin of the groom, and Rob Kanotz.
Ring bearer was William Wyland, nephew of the groom.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Upper St. Clair High School; a 2007 graduate of Chatham University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education; and a 2009 graduate of Waynesburg University, where she earned a master of science degree in special education. She is a special education teacher at Waynesburg High School.
Mr. Wyland is a 1994 graduate of Trinity High School. He is a server at Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh.
A reception was held at Valley Brook Country Club in McMurray.
A summer 2015 wedding trip is planned.
The couple reside in Washington.
