Wood – Eggleston
William (Woody) and Adele Wood of Washington announce the engagement of their son, Charles, to Jessica Eggleston, daughter of Smythe and Lisa Eggleston of Flowery Branch, Ga.
Charles’ grandparents are Stella Maloy of Washington, the late Arthur Maloy, the late Ted and Elsie Lehew, the late John Foster and the late Bill and Jean Wood.
His fiancee’s grandparents are John and Beth Eggleston of Jefferson, Ga., and Paul and Carol Lutz of Marietta, Ga.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Washington High School, a former sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and a former South Strabane Township volunteer firefighter. He is employed as an analyst II for Macy’s in Johns Creek, Ga., and co-owner of KIDDOS Center for Learning in Bentleyville.
The bride-to-be is a 2012 graduate of Georgia State University and is director of human resources at Temporary Apartment Management in Suwanee, Ga.
An Oct. 17 wedding is planned in Georgia.
