Pooch Hinerman golf outing will be held Saturday at Highland Springs Golf Course, 1600 Washington Pike, Wellsburg, W.Va. Tee times will be assigned and will begin at 8 a.m. Cost is $70 for a four person team. Captain of the team will be contacted with tee time. Make checks payable to Prexie Pride Foundation, PO Box 168, Washington, PA 15301. All proceeds support a scholarship in Hinerman’s name for two graduating seniors at Washington High School. So far, 16 scholarships have been given to Washington High School graduates and one scholarship to the daughter of one of the golfers. For more information, contact Sandy Hinerman at 724-470-7989.
Culinary sale featuring Tastefully Simple and the Chocolate Moonshine Co. will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 6-7 in the Stout Conference Center, Room 3, at Washington Hospital. Flavors of the imported Belgian chocolate include black raspberry, toasted almond, orange and sea salt caramel. Tastefully Simple includes beer bread mix, seasoned salt, corn and black bean salsa and almond pound cake. The event is sponsored by the Washington Hospital Auxiliary.
Uniform, shoe and accessory sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 20 and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 21, in the community room at Washington Hospital. Payroll deduction is accepted for hospital employees, as well as cash, checks and credit cards. The event is sponsored by the Washington Hospital Auxiliary.
