Kaleidoscope Art to hold workshops
Kaleidoscope Art, 7 E. Walnut St., Washington, will hold workshops from 6 to 8 p.m. as follows:
• Aug. 5 – Crochet basics. Participants will learn how to crochet and will be provided with gift-giving ideas for loved ones.
• Aug. 12 – Creative acrylic painting. Using simple acrylic painting techniques, participants will learn how to create a soulful swirl painting. • Aug. 19 – “Give it to God” box. Students will decorate a wooden box with decoupage techniques and collage items that is to be used to release life’s struggles.
• Aug. 26 – Stained glass sun catcher. Students will personalize a handmade sun catcher. Basic stained glass-making tools and instruction will be provided.
Classes cost $40 and include materials. Call 724-470-9136 for reservations. Classes are limited to eight people. Coffee and tea will be provided. Guests are welcome to bring a snack to share.
