Sheet sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the community room at Washington Hospital. Sheets are 100 percent Egyptian cotton. Cost is $38 for 600 thread count; $48 for 1,000 thread count; $58 for 1,200 thread count; and $68 for 1,500 thread count. Sizes are full, queen and king. Sheet sets with 1,800 thread count are $20. A $24 set includes four pillowcases. All types of payment are accepted, and payroll deduction is available. Sponsored by the Women’s Auxiliary.

WACOM, Washington County Chapter, will participate in the National Field Day exercise June 27 and June 28 at South Strabane Fire Department No. 1, Pancake. Since 1933, ham radio operators have established temporary ham radio field-day stations at public locations to showcase the science and skill of amateur radio.
