Tukaci – Williams
Regina and Cliff VanKirk Sr. of Prosperity announce the engagement of their daughter, Valerie Lynn Williams, to Korhan (Kevin) Tukaci, son of Mukaddes Ozserin and Emin Tukaci of Diyarbakir, Turkey. Valerie also is the daughter of the late Richard Elwyn Williams.
Valerie’s grandparents are the late Anna and Elwyn Williams and the late Stella and George Gregoritch.
Her fiance’s grandparents are Naim and Munevver Ozserin of Elazig, Turkey.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Peters Township High School, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music with a bachelor of fine arts in musical theater and The City College of New York with a bachelor of science in early childhood education. She is a professional singer and theater performer who has performed around the world with symphonies, theatrical tours and cruise lines. She also is a writer with two one-woman shows and is working on an album of music for children and a children’s book.
The future groom is a graduate of Cagribey High School, Adana, Turkey, and Dicle University, Diyarbakir, with a degree in automotive engineering. He is pursuing a master of business administration at Dowling College, Long Island, N.Y.
