BPW plans strolling fashions fundraiser
Canonsburg Business and Professional Women’s Club will hold “An Affair to Remember” Saturday at Bella Sera, Canonsburg.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m., followed by a gourmet brunch at 11:30. The brunch will feature made-to-order omelettes, French toast and croissant sandwiches. A strolling fashion show by Macy’s will be presented during brunch.
Outside, a “rolling mall” of fashion trucks will include Style Truck, Vintage Valet and Broke Little Rich Girl. There also will be a basket raffle featuring an artist’s proof of Ray Forker’s “Hill Church,” boutique products, entertainment and dining certificates. There also will be a cash bellini bar.
Proceeds will support three scholarships and BPW’s women’s advocacy programs.
In addition, Samantha Lee of Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania will provide a brief overview of the organization’s Fresh Start transitional living program, which is one of this year’s scholarship recipients.
