Bradford House Historical Association is looking for volunteers for both the museum and the Whiskey Rebellion Festival. High school and college students as well as adults are welcome to apply. Letters verifying community service hours can be provided. If interested, complete a volunteer application, which can be found at www.bradfordhouse.org or obtained at the Bradford House from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays.

Jefferson Township Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in White Church Building in Eldersville. Guest speaker Susan M. Guy will discuss her book, “Mobsters, Madams & Murders in Steubenville, Ohio.” Refreshments will be available. The book “Penowa” by Frank Muzopappa is available for $20. To purchase a copy, call Dorothy at 304-748-2503.

Chicken dinner will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Morris Township Community Center in Nineveh. Half chicken is $5, and a chicken dinner is $8 and includes coleslaw, hobo beans, roll and butter, drink and dessert. Takeout will be available. There also will be a Chinese auction. Proceeds benefit Morris Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Flyers Club at Washington County Airport. The program, “Photographing Water,” will be presented by John Zinn. Bring all Breidenbach print contest entries to the meeting.

Spring garage/bake sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 22 and 23 at Fawcett United Methodist Church, 346 Fawcett Church Road, Bridgeville. There will be homemade ham barbecue sandwiches cream-puff cakes and pies. All garage sale items will be half price on Saturday.
