Parry – Matthew
Roland and Loma Parry of Washington announce the engagement of their son, William, to Melissa Matthew, daughter of David III and Gail Matthew of Irvington, N.Y.
Melissa’s grandparents are Dorothy Robinson of Sun City, Ariz., the late Frederick Robinson and the late David Jr. and Vendetta Matthew.
William’s grandparents are Thelma Harry of Waynesburg, the late Alexander Harry and the late William and Genevieve Parry.
The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, N.Y., a 2004 graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore, Md., with a degree in religion and a 2014 graduate of the Community College of Baltimore County, where she studied to be an occupational therapy assistant. She is a certified and licensed occupational therapy assistant.
The future groom is a 2000 graduate of McGuffey High School and a 2004 graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington with a degree in French and philosophy. He is a member of Phi Kappa Tau. He is enrolled as a graduate student in economics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore campus, and is the manager of Kwon’s Food Service in Washington, D.C.
The couple plan a July wedding.
