The Martha Washington Garden Club will meet at 11 a.m. today at First Lutheran Church, 92 W. Walnut St., Washington. If possible, come early to help make silk flower arrangements to be used by the club as gifts and fundraisers. Bring wire cutters if you have them. Refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m. and the program, “Caring for Indoor Plants,” will begin at 1 p.m. Mary Joy Haywood, professor at Carlow University, will share information on how to “Keep your Indoor Plants Happy”. She will cover selecting plants, using lights and pruning for best results.
