The stewardess board of St. Paul AME Church, 16 Ridge Ave., Washington, will host Salad-A-Rama from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10.

An event to encourage pet adoptions and support local animal groups will be held May 30 at Tractor Supply Co., 406 Washington Road, Washington. One Dog At A Time will be on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and there will be a cookout and dog wash.
