Venetia native named president of Dauphin County Bar Association
Pamela Polacek, a Venetia native and graduate of Peters Township High School, recently was named president of the Dauphin County Bar Association for 2015.
The association is a professional organization with more than 1,450 lawyers.
Polacek previously served as vice president, secretary, young lawyers section chairwoman and a member of the board of directors.
She is a member of the Harrisburg-based law firm of McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, where she practices in the energy and environmental law group, with an emphasis on representing commercial, institutional and industrial customers for electricity and natural gas issues.
