C-M to stage ‘Ghost Master’

1 min read

Canon-McMillan High School will premiere “The Reign of the Ghost Master,” an adventure/drama about teens who become trapped in a video game that was by three high school teachers, at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school auditorium.

The play was penned by Cynthia Berg, fall drama sponsor, and two of her colleagues, Sara Lamars and Rachel Berteotti, after they were unable to find a production that offered a strong ensemble cast.

Additional performances will be held Nov. 13 and 14.

Tickets are $8 and will be sold Tuesday and Wednesday. Tickets also will be available at the door.

Cast members helped tweak the script to make it more authentic for high school students.

“The kids are excited to be a part of the process – and part of something that has never been done before at the high school,” Berg said.
