Community Action Southwest received a $5,000 donation from 84 Lumber Co.

The money was used toward the Mike Super Magic event in October at Trinity High School.

The company also donated $1,000 to the American Cancer Society. The money will be used toward the Bounty of Hope Event on Nov. 21 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe.

“Despite being a national company, I have always seen the importance of being a part of every community where we do business,” said Maggie Hardy-Magerko, president and owner of 84 Lumber Co.
