California church to hold cookie sale
California United Methodist Church, 227 Third and Liberty streets, will hold its annual Christmas cookie sale Dec. 5 in the social room. Registration will begin at 9:45 a.m., follwed by the sale at 10.
Participants will be called in the order in which they registered and will receive an empty box for a $12 donation or two boxes for a $20 donation. There is no limit to the number of boxes that can be purchased.
When called, each customer will fill a cookie box from a selection of more than 400 dozen cookies freshly baked by members and friends of California United Methodist Church. Since all cookies will be freshly baked, they will be suitable for freezing for the holidays.
