McCarthy – Fontana
Jacquelyn Fontana and David McCarthy were united in marriage September 5, 2015, in St. Gabriel’s Parish, Pittsburgh, with Father Michael Suslowicz officiating the 2 p.m. ceremony. The bride’s parents are Gerald and Lisa Fontana of Waynesburg. Her grandparents are Mary Kime of Clarksville and the late John Kime and the late Albert and Dorothy Fontana.
Parents of the bridegroom are Kevin and Carol McCarthy of Whitehall. His grandparents are Louise Cappetta of Brentwood and the late Frank Cappetta and the late Tom and Bernice McCarty.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Emily Fontana of Charlotte, N.C., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Coleman of Waynesburg; Lauren Dugan of Waynesburg; Alyson Johnson of Morgantown, W.Va.; Angela McCarthy of Pittsburgh, sister of the groom; Ashley Wilkinson of Pittsburgh; and Erin Everett of Pittsburgh.
Flower girl was Harper Dennison, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Michael McCarthy of Pittsburgh, brother of the groom. Ushers were Patrick McCarthy of Pittsburgh, brother of the groom; Thomas McCarthy of Pittsburgh, brother of the groom; Tom DeAngelis of Ohio; Nathan DeFlippi of Pittsburgh; Rick Raraigh of Pittsburgh; and Jared Littler of Pittsburgh.
Ring bearer was Brock Dennison, cousin of the bride.
Readers were Heather Kozich, cousin of the bride; Linda Dennison, aunt of the bride; and Julia McCarthy, aunt of the bride.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School, a 2011 graduate of Seton Hill University and a 2015 MBA graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She is an accountant at UPMC in Pittsburgh.
Mr. McCarthy is a 2007 graduate of Baldwin High School and a 2011 graduate and 2013 MBA graduate of Seton Hill University. He is an operations manager at Verizon Wireless.
A reception was held at Gilfillan Farm, Upper St. Clair.
The couple honeymooned in Jamaica.
