Mon Valley YMCA ballroom dancing lessons will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and will feature the waltz taught by Brian Lee. Members and nonmembers are welcome. Partners are not necessary. To register, call 724-483-8077. Deadline to register is Wednesday.
Chartiers Hill United Presbyterian Church, 2230 Washington Road, Canonsburg, will hold a fundraiser from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. There will be various vendors and presenters, homemade desserts and beverages, a silent auction for designer bags and jewelry, original artwork by James Sulkowski and door prizes. The Bradford House Historical Association and Bassettown Paranormal Society will host the annual Ghosts of Washington Haunted History Walking Tours from 6 to 9:40 p.m. Oct. 23 and 24. Tours will leave from the garden of the Bradford House Museum, 175 S. Main St., Washington, about every 20 minutes and last about an hour, ending at the Palmer House, 44 E. Maiden St. Free parking is available on the street or in nearby city lots. Cost is $5 per person. Hot beverages, snacks and souvenirs will be available for purchase.
