Samuel and Ann Puglisi of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Leeann, to Matthew Lombardo, son of Lynn Lombardo of Atlanta, Ga., and John Edward Lombardo Jr. of West Aliquippa.

Leeann’s grandparents are the late Glenn and Jeanne Ann Cunningham and the late Vincent and Frances Puglisi.

Her fiance’s grandparents are John Edward Lombardo Sr. and Linda Lombardo of Rochester, Paul Covert of Reynoldsville, Robert Young of Punxsutawney and the late Jackie Young.

The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2015 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and special education. She attends the University of Pittsburgh, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in special education. She is employed by Pace School as a classroom assistant in an autism support classroom in the Moon Area School District.

The future groom is a 2011 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School and a 2015 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He attends Chatham University, where he is pursuing a master’s degree in biology. He is employed by Washington Ambulance and Chair as an EMT.

The couple plan a June 10, 2017, wedding.
