Fairhill Manor hosts community concert
Singer-songwriter Ron King of Washington will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at Fairhill Manor Christian Church, 351 Montgomery Ave., Washington, during a Notes of Thanks community concert.
Pete Cimino and the Button Box Band and Ambassadors for Christ and Pastor Betty Riecks also will be featured.
The concert is free, but a free-will offering will be received to aid needy families in the Washington area. Light refreshments will be served after the concert.
In addition, King’s three CDs, “Original Oldies,” “His Place” and “Country Church Hymns,” will be sold. All proceeds from the sale of the CDs will be donated to the church’s fundraising efforts.
