Washington Art Association, located at Citizens Library, will offer classes in multi-media art for teens and adults from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays, beginning this week and mosaic/stained glass classes from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays, beginning next week. Buffalo Grange 1523 will meet at 7 p.m. Friday. The grange will hold its monthly birthday and anniversary celebration at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 28.
Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St., Washington, will host a spaghetti dinner and silent auction from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to benefit the Haiti Mission Trip in April. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. For ticket information, call 724-222-0190.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an educational series designed to provide caregivers with the tools they need to take care of themselves. Classes will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday beginning Oct. 14 at First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau Street, Washington. The program helps family caregivers reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.
