Washington County Parks and Recreation will hold an Eco Day homeschool outdoor program for children 5 to 11 at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday at Mingo Creek County Park. Students will learn the effects of pollution on the environment, how to prevent and dispose of pollutants and how to create a greener and more sustainable future. Buffet breakfast will be held from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Claysville United Methodist Church, 1279 Route 40 West. The menu will include scrambled eggs, cheesy hash browns, sausage and bacon, pancakes, waffles, toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, coffee, tea, juices and chocolate and white milk. Annual cleanup of Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Cemetery in Amity will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Volunteers are welcome, and donations are appreciated.

Family-style baked steak dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Taylorstown Christian Church, 32 Main St. Menu will include baked steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, beets, roll and butter, assorted desserts and drink. Cost is $13 for adults and $5 for children 3 to 12 years old. Children 2 and younger eat free. Takeout will be available, and there will be a Chinese auction.
Prime Time Adult Care Inc. will hold a spring craft fair from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park. Spaghetti dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Frank Ricco Lodge, 16 Race St., Brownsville. The dinner is being hosted by Brownsville Sons & Daughters of Italy and will feature four types of sauces: hot, regular red and butter and garlic, with or without anchovies. Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a needle and yarn craft workshop at 10 a.m. April 13 at the Mingo Creek County Park office. The craft will be a purse that will be made from plastic canvas and yarn. Participants are asked to bring scissors and skeins of yarn. Refreshments and a small snack will be provided. Fee is $4.
