Citizens Library Chess Tournament winners

Citizens Library recently held its 34th annual Chess Tournament. The junior division consisted of first- through sixth-graders, and the senior division consisted of seventh- through 12th-graders. All entrants received a certificate, and trophies were awarded in each division for first, second and third place. Senior division winners were, left photo, from left, Jeremiah Gump, a sophomore at Trinity High School, first place; Colton Baburich, a sophomore at Trinity High School, second; and Siarra DeMichele, a sophomore at Washington High School, third. Junior division winners were, right photo, from left, Zack Noble, a third-grader at Trinity West Elementary School, third; William Sutherland, a sixth-grader at Trinity Middle School, first; and Kylan Bjornson, a sixth-grader at John F. Kennedy Grade School, second.
