Civil Air Patrol to hold open house
The Washington Composite Squadron, local unit of Civil Air Patrol, will host an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. April 30 at the Washington Flyers’ Club at the Washington County Airport, 275 Airport Road.
Members of the squadron will greet visitors and explain CAP’s missions. There also will be a static aircraft display.
CAP was founded on Dec. 1, 1941, and Washington Composite Squadron 601 is celebrating Civil Air Patrol’s 75th anniversary by hosting the open house.
Following the open house, an optional spaghetti dinner will be held to help raise money for the Washington Flyers’ Club.
