Uniontown Hospital hosting Earth Day event
The Uniontown Hospital Green Team will hold its seventh annual Earth Week celebration event Thursday and Friday.
On Earth Day, which is Friday, the hospital will partner with Shred-It, the hospital’s document shredding company, to provide free shredding services to securely destroy paper documents. Residents are invited to bring old or unwanted documents that are confidential.
In addition, the service will include the destruction of unwanted hard drives and digital storage devices. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by the Emergency Department parking lot, near the main entrance of the hospital.
The Green Team also is hosting a hospital cleanup event Thursday.
