The Monongahela Rail, River & Transportation Museum, 412 Church St., Brownsville, is selling DVDs detailing railroad history for $20 to help raise money to cover operating expenses. Individual membership in the museum is $10; families, $15; and lifetime, $100.

The Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Monongahela is holding an advance-order only and takeout only halupki sale. The last day to order is May 11. Distribution and pick up will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. May 22. For more information, call Ann O’Brien at 724-258-4185.

A community information night about the Bentleyville Bicentennial will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday in Bentleyville Social Hall. All attendees will be entered in a drawing for a basket that includes two tickets for the 1816 Kickoff Banquet, two free registrations for the Run with Sheshbazzar 5K, two commemorative Bicentennial mugs, a Bicentennial top hat, t-shirt, special edition book and Kraft caramels. The Bentleyville Bicentennial is scheduled for June 30 through July 3. America Legion Post 175 will hold a dance featuring Shades of Time from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday. Admission is $3.

Spring Fling vendor and craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Asbury United Methodist Church, 20 Dunbar St., Uniontown. The event will feature food and homemade apple dumplings.

Mon Valley Hospital Auxiliary will hold a Linen In-gathering Tea for Auxillary members at 1 p.m. Monday in the Lombardi Building.

Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, in Room 104, Courthouse Square. Ralph Gurley will present a program on the PSA Convention at Yellowstone. Prints for the June and August window display will be accepted.

Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a yoga class at 7 p.m. May 4 in Mingo Creek County Park. This will be an introductory yoga class open to all skill levels. Program participants will meet at Shelter 10 and are asked to bring a yoga mat or beach towel. Cost is $5 and registration is required and can be made by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation office at 724-228-6867.

The Brownsville chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America will hold an open house at 5 p.m. May 4 in the Commissioners Pavilion at Patsy Hillman Park, 100 Hillman Park Drive. The open house will include an overview of the national organization’s mission statement, and guest speakers will discuss the Environmental Park Program and youth activities.

Wednesday Night Car Cruises will begin May 4 at American Legion Post 51, 508 E. Main St., Brownsville. The “Red, White and Blue” car cruises will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be food, drinks and entertainment by DJ Arnie Amber. Entries and admission are free. Mon Valley Hospital Auxiliary will hold a meet and greet of the new president and officers of the auxiliary at 11:30 a.m. May 5 in the Lombardi Building. Parking is free and refreshments will be served.

Southwestern Local Task Force 1 monthly meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon May 5 in the Intermediate Unit 1 Central Office, One Intermediate Unit Drive, Coal Center.
