Nominees sought for C-M Hall of Honor
Canon-McMillan School District is accepting nominations for its Hall of Honor, which recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in academia, athletics, arts, citizenry or valor. Alumni and community members 30 or older who have made significant contributions to Canon-McMillan are eligible. The deadline for nominatations is Tuesday.
While nominees do not have to be graduates of the school district, they must have made a positive difference in the Canon-McMillan education community. Categories include academia/scholastic achievement, athletic achievement, artistic achievement, valor and outstanding service to the community.
The new class will be announced at the Sept. 23 Hall of Honor football game. The induction banquet will be held Sept. 24.
