Air Force Col. William R. Hodgkiss has retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving honorably for 30 years. His parents are William and Dorothy P. Hodgkiss of Washington. Hodgkiss is a 1981 graduate of Trinity High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in 1985 from Penn State University. He last served as senior materiel leader/director with Launch Systems Directorate, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif.

U.S. Army Pvt. Sheyanne P. Holmes has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C. Holmes is a 2012 graduate of Ringgold High School, and her parents are Scott C. Holmes of Belle Vernon and Michelle Hudoly of Donora.
