Food bank to hold Taste of Washington
The Greater Washington County Food Bank will hold its ninth annual Taste of Washington from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at The Meadows Casino Event Center.
The evening will be filled with food, drinks, music and giveaways, with all proceeds benefiting the Greater Washington County Food Bank.
Guests can sample flavorful foods from various local restaurants and cast a vote for the event’s “Best Dish” award. The evening also will feature lifetime achievement recognition for Peg Wilson, board president, who has donated 15 years of her time to the organization.
