Angel Ridge in contest for cash award
Angel Ridge Animal Rescue in Washington will receive at least a $5,000 award, thanks to adopter Leo Kennedy, who has been selected a finalist in the Petco Foundation Holiday Wishes campaign.
Kennedy’s essay was one of 54 chosen as a finalist out of 5,000 submissions.
A people’s choice voting contest is being held until Dec. 31, and money will be awarded to the shelters of the top four finalists.
