The choirs of Waynesburg First and Washington Street United Methodist churches will perform the Christmas cantata “Morning Star” by Lloyd Larson at 9 a.m. Sunday at Washington Street and 10:45 at First Church, Richhill and Franklin streets, Waynesburg.
Vendor and craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilition, 107 Curry Road, Waynesburg. Vendors and crafters are welcome, and there is no cost to attend or sell. To reserve tables and space, call 724-833-6249.
Peters Township Parks and Recreation and Peters Township Athletic Department will offer a Sports Forum for students, parents and coaches at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Community Recreation Center. Participants will learn about sports nutrition and hydration for high school and collegiate-level athletes, with featured speaker Karen Hjerpe, athletic director at California University of Pennsylvania. Amwell Township Historical Society will hold its annual Christmas party at 6 p.m. Dec. 12 in the Amwell Township Municipal Building. Meat, rolls, drinks and paper products will be provided. Bring a covered dish or dessert. Games and gifts will be available for everyone.
