Mrs. Claus Club donates to Monongahela Valley Hospital
The Mrs. Claus Club of Bentleyville recently made a donation to the Charles L. and Rose Sweeney Melenyzer Pavilion and Regional Cancer Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital.
The club donated a white Christmas tree adorned with hand-decorated ornaments. Each ornament is decorated with a cancer ribbon denoting the different types of cancer with which people may be diagnosed. The club also made it possible for each patient to receive a pair of socks and a grocery store gift card.
The Mrs. Santa Claus Club of Bentleyville is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring comfort to cancer patients.
