PT library offers fine amnesty week
Peters Township Public Library will participate in Random Acts of Kindness Week Sunday through Feb. 20 by offering a fine amnesty week for its members.
The initiative applies only to fines and materials borrowed from Peters Township Public Library and not to fines and materials borrowed from other libraries in the Washington and Greene Greater Information Network.
To have late fees waived, patrons can:
• Return overdue materials to the library’s outdoor book drop or indoor book return.
• Email late fees to email ptlib@ptlibrary.org and type “Kindness Week” in the subject line. Provide your name and the names of any family members in the message.
• Call 724-941-9430 and press #4 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
In addition, patrons can request that lost WAGGIN library cards be replaced for free through February.
Also, replacement costs for lost or damaged Peters Township library items will be discounted by 50 percent if payment is made during Random Acts of Kindness Week. Cash, credit cards or checks made payable to Peters Township Public Library will be accepted.
For more information, email ptlib@ptlibrary.org or call 724-941-9430 and press #1.
