Symphony of Food at Bella Sera
WOMEN of Southwestern PA Inc., a nonprofit based in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, will hold their annual Symphony of Food fundraiser at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Bella Sera, 414 Morganza Road, Canonsburg.
The evening will begin with cocktails and entertainment by the Washington Jazz Combo. Emcee will be Sally Wiggin. There will be a Parade of Chefs before dinner, followed by comments by Danielle McKain, director of Jameson’s Army, a grant recipient in 2015.
Dinner will feature signature dishes from the chefs and their restaurants, and include:
• Chef Ben D’Amico, Giant Eagle Market District, appetizers;
• Chef Giuseppe Di Gristina, Bella Sera, winter salad;
• Executive Chef Jaime Irvine, Toscano’s Brick Oven, beef entrée;
• Chef Joshua Montgomery, Bonefish Grill, seafood entrée;
• David DeLallo, owner, DeLallo’s Fort Couch Cafe, dessert;
• Vijay Wadke, owner, Charya’s Steak and Seafood, bread.
Guests also will have the opportunity to participate in a live auction, which will include tickets to the Carrie Underwood concert and four one-day park hopper tickets to Disney World in Florida. There also will be a Chinese auction and a wine and spirits cart.

Proceeds will be used to provide grants to women and children in need in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
