Bradford House holding poster contest
Online registration is being accepted in January and February for the Bradford House Museum’s poster contests, which are open to middle and high school students in Washington and Greene counties. The topic is “Western Pennsylvania History, 1750 – 1850.”
Students are required to construct a presentation on a standard-size trifold display board and deliver the project to the Bradford House in early March.
The registration form, rules, suggestions for developing a project and a list of possible topics are available at www.bradfordhouse.org under the education tab.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five entries in each division: fifth- through eighth-graders and ninth- through 12th-graders. Winning projects will be displayed at the Symposium on 18th-Century Life and Customs in Western Pennsylvania on March 18.
