National security topic of discussion
Peters Township Public Library will host senior military officers from the U.S. Army War College for a panel discussion on “Global Challenges and U.S. National Security” at 7 p.m. Feb. 2.
Senior officers, who have firsthand experience with military operations and tactics at home and abroad, will discuss their research on various national security issues and how the United States is addressing these concerns.
The free program is being presented in partnership with the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh and is funded by McMurray Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 764. Registration is required by emailing programs@ptlibrary.org or calling 724-941-9430.
