Izack Walton League’s fishing rodeo winners announced

The Brownsville Chapter of the Izaak Walton League’s eighth annual fishing rodeo recently attracted a record 43 people.

Winners in the 6- to 9-year-old competition were Kylie Kaminsky, who caught the largest catfish; Kathren Hough, largest carp; and Jon Cossu, largest bass and bluegill.

Winners in the 10-to 12-year-old competition were John Kaminsky, largest catfish; Timothy Lacek, largest bass; and Aaron Stewart, largest bluegill.

The fishing rodeo, open to 6- to 16-year-olds, is held at Patsy Hillman Park in Luzerne Township.
