California Hill Gun Club, 150 California Road, will host its third annual Car Cruise and Hog Roast from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The event will include vendors, raffles, food and music by DJ John Robinson.
Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society Inc., 128 Pleasant St., Morgantown, W.Va., will host kids day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The first 50 children will receive a free fun packet. Refreshments will be sold, and there will be a Chinese auction and white-elephant table. The society has the largest HO scale model railroad in northcentral West Virginia, with almost 700 feet of mainline. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
The Power of Music will feature Belinda Nicholas, a rhythm and blues/jazz artist, from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at West Brownsville American Legion Post 340, 800 Middle St. The concert is free and will feature drawings, food and raffles.
Mud Madness III will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Mountain Fellowship Center, Markleysburg. There is no admission fee for spectators, but there are fees for competitors. The event features ATV/UTV drag races, bicycle races, mud bogs, bounce house, power wheels balloon derby, raffles and food.
Golden Triangle Decorative Painters will meet Sunday at Finleyville I.O.O.F. Hall, 3684 Finleyville-Elrama Road. Doors open at 9 a.m., and the business meeting will begin at noon. Members are asked to bring side dishes for a picnic-style lunch. A tailgate sale also will be held. Ellen Belisle will be teaching a Santa on a sled. Sneaker Sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Washington Hospital community room. Men’s and women’s running shoes, cross-trainers, and basketball and walking shoes will be available. Cash, major credit cards and payroll deduction for Washington Health System employees will be accepted. The sale is sponsored by the Washington Hospital Auxiliary to benefit the Washington Health System.
Monongahela Area Chamber of Commerce, 212 W. Main St., will host an online marketing for businesses event at 8 a.m. July 27. Doughnuts, coffee and juice will be provided. Registration deadline is July 22 by calling the chamber at 724-258-5919.
Uniontown Lions Club will hold a “Night at the Races” at 5 p.m. July 29 at Stone House Inn, 3023 National Pike, Farmington, to raise money for its Sgt. Eric R. Hull and Thomas M. Dolfi memorial scholarships. Admission is $20 per person and includes $100 drawings every 15 minutes and a buffet.
