Buffalo Grange 1523 will hold its annual picnic at 6 p.m. Monday. The picnic will be held in conjunction with the birthday and anniversary dinner. Guests are welcome. Bring a picnic dish or dessert.

Fabulous Family Activities Day, formerly Agency Day, will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 30 in the 4-H youth building at the Fayette County Fairgrounds, 134 Pechin Road, Dunbar. The free event is being held in conjunction with the Fayette County Fair, which runs from July 28 to Aug. 6.
Butterfly walk, led by Monica Miller of the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation, will be held at 1 p.m. July 30 at Mingo Creek County Park. Participants should meet in the parking lot near Shelter 1. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 724-228-6867. A limited number of butterfly nets and collecting jars will be available. Dress for light hiking and bring a bottle of water.
Property reassessments will be presented by James Uhler of Why USA Homes For U Realty Inc. of Pittsburgh at 2 p.m. July 30 at Monongahela Area Library.
Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 2128 E. National Pike, Scenery Hill, will hold a free clothing giveway from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5 and 6 and Aug. 12 and 13. Gently worn men’s, women’s and children’s clothing will be available. The church also is accepting donations of gently worn clothing, particularly children’s clothing. Chartiers Township Parks and Recreation will hold its annual bus trip to J&D Cellars Winery and Vineyard Aug. 7. The bus will leave the Community Center at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.
Holy Rosary’s pastoral council is seeking vendors for its Craft and Vendor Show from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, in the new hall, 246 Muse-Bishop Road, Muse. Proceeds will benefit the CCD program. Registration forms are available online at www.holyrosarymuse.org. Deadline for a discount is Aug. 16.
District X Garden Clubs will hold a planning meeting for the 2018 convention, “Floral Tri-Fecta,” at 10 a.m. Aug. 22, at the Doubletree Hilton, Meadow Lands. A representative from each club, including Giant Oaks Garden Club, Great Meadows Garden Club, Greene Gardeners, Martha Washington Garden Club, Mon Valley Garden Club, Uniontown Garden Club and Valley Garden Club, should attend.
