84 Lumber supports W.Va. flood victims
84 Lumber has donated products and resources to aid in the cleanup and relief efforts of the June 23 flooding in southern West Virginia.
To help fulfill the most-needed products identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, 84 Lumber donated more than $20,000 worth of personal items, such as first aid supplies, cleaning materials and diapers.
All items were donated to the West Virginia Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster. 84 Lumber also subleased a former Belle, W.Va., property to WV VOAD, which is serving as a storage and distribution facility to help the cleanup and relief efforts.
WV VOAD began distributing the donated items the week of July 5. In addition to cleanup materials, 84 Lumber also has donated T-shirts and totes printed with #84LumberSupportsWV to show 84’s support for the communities affected.
