Summer in the Park will begin at 2 p.m. July 17 at Monessen City Park Amphitheater. Entertainment will be provided by Steel Blossoms of Nashville, Tenn., and the Pittsburgh duo of Scott and Rosanna. There also will be vendors, food and crafters. The event is sponsored by the Monessen Amphitheater committee and the Laurel Highlands Visitors’ Bureau.
