Penn State Fayette offers STEM camp
Penn State Fayette, Eberly campus, is sponsoring free STEM Career Exploration Camps July 18-22 and July 25-29.
The camps offer hands-on programming and activities focusing on the practical application of science, technology, engineering and mathematics in everyday life. Camps are geared toward students entering ninth through 12th grade.
Students will be able to collaborate with Fayette faculty and industry professionals. Enrollment is limited. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Each camp will include a field trip.
Other summer youth programs are Kids in College, July 11-15 and July 18-22, for first- through fourth-graders; Science and Robotics Camp, July 25-29 for third- to fifth-graders and July 11-15 and Aug. 1-5 for third- to sixth-graders; and SAT prep class, Aug. 8-12 for 10th- through 12th-graders.
