Sarah Sommer and Joseph McLaughlin, both of Peters Township, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie McLaughlin, to Spencer Lee, son of Gary and Janet Lee of Peters Township.

The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Peters Township High School. She is a hair dresser at Salon Lenae in South Strabane Township.

The future groom is a 2009 graduate of Peters Township High School. He is the trucking superintendent for Ten Mile in Washington.

A summer 2017 wedding is planned.
