White – Moore
Marissa M. Moore and Christopher J. White were united in marriage December 31, 2015, in Centenary United Methodist Church, Granville, Ohio, with the Rev. Steve Cramer officiating the 11 a.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are William and Melinda Moore of High Point, N.C. Her grandparents are Mentje and Elisabeth Ferwerda of Tequesta, Fla., Audrey Moore of Suwanee, Ga., and the late Roscoe Moore Jr.
Parents of the bridegroom are James (Jamie) and Peggy White of Hickory. His grandparents are John M. White of Hickory, the late Catherine White, Loretta Allison of Mooresville, Ind., and the late Paul J. Allison.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Nicole Warner of Dayton, Ohio. Bridesmaids were Brenna Hallum of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kimberly DeMay of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Emily Nau of Columbus, Ohio.
Best men were Alvin D. White III and James D. White III, twin brothers of the groom. Ushers were Scott Hartley of Pickerington, Ohio, Raymond DeMay of Reynoldsburg and Jacob Nau of Columbus.
Trumpeter was Wendell Banyay of Suffolk, Va., cousin of the groom.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Granville High School and a 2015 graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor of science in pharmaceutical sciences and a minor in public health. She is pursuing her master’s degree in public health with a specialization in epidemiology at Ohio State University.
Mr. White is a 2010 graduate of Fort Cherry High School and a 2014 graduate of Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in theater, with a concentration in sound design and editing. He is employed as a news video editor at ABC 6 in Columbus.
A reception was held in the Granville Inn.
The couple honeymooned on a cruise through the Caribbean.
