Howsare – Lewis
Ashley Dawn Lewis and Ian Ross Howsare were united in marriage October 10, 2015, at Bramblewood at Simmons Hickory Farm, McDonald, with Pastor Michael Lehman officiating the 3:15 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Rick and Darla Lewis of Washington. Her grandparents are Dick and Rodell Lewis of Washington, Della Faber of Washington and the late Ed Faber.
Parents of the bridegroom are Martin Howsare and Susan Phillips, both of Amity. His grandparents are the late Martin and Ann Howsare and the late Paul and Mary Phillips.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father.
Matrons of honor were Devra Bright of Fort Worth, Texas, and Courtney McKinney of McDonald. Maid of honor was Lori Riffle of Washington, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Vernocy of Monaca, cousin of the bride; Jessie Simpson of Washington, cousin of the bride; Alberta Haught of Harmony, sister-in-law of the bride; and Erika Howsare of Nellysford, Va., sister of the groom.
Flower girls were Elsie and Rosa Gulino, nieces of the groom.
Best man was Seth Howsare of Pittsburgh, brother of the groom. Ushers were Thomas Hritz of Carmichaels; David Wray of Scenery Hill; Matthew Harley of Falconer, N.Y., cousin of the groom; Christopher Gorby of Canonsburg; Christopher Lewis of Harmony, brother of the bride; and John Gulino of Nellysford, brother-in-law of the groom.
Ring bearer was Jace Simpson, cousin of the bride.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2006 graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor of science in photography. She is a customer service specialist with Quality Quick Printing.
Mr. Howsare is a 2002 graduate of Trinity High School and attended Pittsburgh Filmmakers for video production. He is a franchise owner of Cornwell Tools.
A reception was held at Bramblewood at Simmons Hickory Farm.
The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and make their home in Amity.
