Jada L. Castor, a junior majoring in human resources management at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, has received a Vira I. Heinz Scholarship for Women in Global Leadership. Castor will use the scholarship to enroll in a human resource internship through the University of Pittsburgh’s Pitt in London program. Castor is a graduate of Ringgold High School.

Michael Mays received the Ralph R. and Grace B. Jones Scholarship during the 46th annual Recognition Banquet at the College of Wooster, where he is a senior majoring in business economics. The scholarship is awarded to a student who has a drive for success. Mays is a graduate of Carmichaels Area High School.
