Historical society to host model railroad open house
Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society in Morgantown, W.Va., will hold its Model Railroad Spring Open House from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The model railroad is 25 feet wide and 30 feet long and features variety of scenes representing West Virginia in the 1950s. Members will be available to answer questions about the railroad.
Refreshments will be available. There also will be a baked goods sale, white elephant table and Chinese auction.
