Wheeling Park to hold shelter lottery
The annual lottery for shelters at Wheeling Park will be held Saturday at the White Palace in Wheeling Park.
Doors open at 8 a.m. and coffee and doughnuts will be served. Participants in the lottery should arrive before 9 to receive a ticket. Only one ticket will be issued per group. A $50 non-refundable deposit will be required to enter the lottery. The $50 will be credited to the rental of the shelter.
Phone reservations for the Wheeling Park shelters can be made beginning Saturday after 1 p.m. by calling 304-243-4085. Payment for all shelters is required when the reservations are made. All shelters at Oglebay may be booked two years in advance.
