Mackenzie McElhaney graduated summa cum laude from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor of science in exercise science. She also was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average for the eighth consecutive semester, and received the President’s Award for placing in the top 20 academic students of the university every year of college. She will enter her second year of graduate studies in the doctor of physical therapy program at Slippery Rock. She is a 2012 graduate of McGuffey High School, and her parents are Jim and Sally McElhaney of Washington.
Clayton Johnson graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford with a bachelor of arts in criminal justice, with a minor in criminal forensics. He was recognized for his induction into Pi Gamma Mu, the international honor society in social sciences, during honors convocation. Johnson served as the Pitt Panther mascot and is a member of Sigma Alpha Pi National Society of Leadership and Success and Alpha Phi Omega. He is a 2013 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, and his parents are Jimmy and Tammy Johnson of Canonsburg.
