Garden club offering scholarship
The Martha Washington Garden Club is offering a $1,000 scholarship to a Washington County student who has completed at least one year of college and plans to continue his or her education in agricultural, conservation or environmental studies.
Applicants must:
• Provide personal information;
• Submit a maximum 400-word essay about their interests and decision to choose their course of study;
• Enclose a copy of their transcripts. All applications must be sent to Mary Dobich, 224 Little Creek Road, Marianna, PA 15345-1204 by July 31.
