West Alexander United Methodist Women will hold a bazaar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church on Main Street. There will be homemade crafts, baked goods, tasting table, white-elephant sale and soup and sandwiches.
Bethel Presbyterian Church will sponsor its 10th annual free hunters’ breakfast from 4 to 7 a.m. Nov. 28 at the church, Route 18 South, South Franklin Township. Menu includes sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausage gravy, biscuits and toast.
A Holiday Celebration is the theme of the Nov. 28 meeting of the Peters Creek Historical Society at Wright’s United Methodist Church, Venetia Road, Peters Township. Members are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert. Guests are welcome. The meeting is a prelude to the annual “Soup and Stroll” open house, which will held from noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 4.
Curtis Copeland Sr. – Favorite Son of Bridgeville will be presented by Curtis Copeland Jr. at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29 in the Chartiers Room at Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department. The event is sponsored by Bridgeville Area Historical Society.
McMurray Art League will hold its second annual Holiday Artists’ Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 3 at the studio in the McDowell Shops, McMurray. A reception for the new studio display, “Multiples,” will follow from 3 to 5 p.m., and light refreshments will be served.
